Flood

This was our town at midday today, the roof is that of the cricket pavilion! Luckily most houses are built above the flood plain, and people here just take it in their stride, seen it all before! Some towns south of us were deluged on friday, and the poor people of Pomona had their houses flooded. Although we didn't get too much rain, it all flows into the Mary River which flows through our town and eventually bursts its banks. The two bridges were completely under, so Southside of the town is completely cut off. It will all be gone again in a day or two as long as there is no more rain!
