Photofabulous!!

Thankyou!!!!!!!!!!

Today is primarily to say an enormous thankyou to all of you for your support, words and encouragement on my last blip!! I was amazed at the response... But then.... I have been amazed by this community a large number of times!!! It truly touches me deeply!!

I feel much more at peace now... And strangely enough... Not too very bothered at all!! I think my love and passion for photography is just too great to be able to be too affected by what happened!! And I trust that my feedback will at least have something constructive in it that will help me grow... Even if I still feel the marking for what was essentially an Introduction to Photography was harsh indeed!!

I have a ton of tidying to do in the house today that I keep saying I'll do... And then don't!!!! It's just got out of hand going back and forward to my parents on my days off!! But it's getting ridiculous... So please excuse my lack of commenting today!! Just let me get organised, then I'll be back as usual!!

I leave you with yet another flower... Since yet again it's dull and grey here!! And a quote that I love!!! Hence my iPhone upload.... All my favourite quotes for inspiration are stored there!!

This for me is something I try and live by!! I love the quote because it's very personal to me.... I spent a lot of years hiding any talent I might have, for terrible fear of being criticised and bullied, and crushed. There were some serious, genuine reasons why I felt so afraid, but that's another story!! Hence my very angry reaction to my harsh marks!!! You know, we all have plenty of things we are genuinely NOT good at, and focus on those far too much sometimes!! Then hide any talents... Maybe in case we fail??!! Even talents need time to grow and develop, and we make mistakes and fail along the way!! But we still actually have some GIFT or TALENT!! So I'm not ashamed to be good at what I am good at!! And encourage everyone to live by that !!!!!!!
:-)))))))))

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
