Springtime

No sign of Spring in the photograph, but there is in the weather today. Although I had shed a layer of clothing compared to a few weeks ago I was still too warm in the city this morning.

A visit to Marks and Spencer was preceded by a wander around the civic district in Aberdeen. The photograph is taken just behind the old Aberdeen council offices. These offices are a 1960 architectural carbuncle, possibly worth of a Blip just to illustrate a building fully deserving of demolition.

The building in the picture is "Provost Skene's House", built in 1545 and now housing a small museum I suspect this is one of the oldest buildings in Aberdeen.
