Sunday lunch

When I was a child roast beef alternated with roast lamb for Sunday lunch with pork as an entrant from time to time. Chicken appeared as a rarity but annually when my grandparents came back from their holiday week at Fleetwood or Cleveleys. Now chicken is an everyday feast and beef a special treat, even security tagged in supermarkets. My son was home this weekend so it was an excuse to kill the fatted calf. I like rib roast very much.
I usually make Yorkshire Pudding with mixed results but for the first time bought "Aunt Bessies" definitely a good idea.
