Il Maestro..

Alberto, my friend and colleague. While he was studying in Rome he worked as "maestro di cappella" (organist and choirmaster and conductor), at the Basilica di Santa Cecilia in Trastevere for four years. Organists of Basilicas in Rome were invited to fill in on the rota for mass at St Peter's, and Alberto played for occasional Papal Masses.

So here he is - larger than life, and former organist to the Pope!
