Little Egret

After yesterday's lovely day out (back blipped here) the weather and the birds deserted us today. We drove over to Rutland Water, the skies turned uniformly grey and the birds departed in droves. Just as I thought all was lost, this little egret touched down briefly before flying off again.

Phew! My emergency blip can stay in the freezer a bit longer.
