It Started Down Under

Carnaval Chinese

This morning very early, my parents and the rest of the family left to go on a skiing holiday. I woke up, waved them out and went back to bed. When I woke up later, it was because of the carnaval parade of the primary school on the other side of the street. It was fun seeing them come by in their weird creations.

This evening we gathered at my girlfriend's place with a bunch of friends to celebrate the first evening of Carnaval. We had a bee, a Lachoufe lepricorn, a smurf (in a morphsuit), a victorian dutchess, the phantom of the opera, the Godfather (all the way from Milano, Italy) and a Chinese. It was much fun, but my ears suffered quite some violence because of the loud music that night.
