Dexter cattle

Our village is dominated by sheep and very soon with the onset of lambs. We do however have four Dexter cattle in the meadow in the middle of the village. They are lovely animals.

My friends at the farm are about to start lambing in a weeks time and must be feeling really concerned about the terrible virus that has been affecting lambs. Hopefully they will not be affected as it causes deformities and still births. It was contracted back in August through midges so the farmers have been unaware of the results until recently.
