Luxor's new Corniche....

Luxor is moving forward! Today, I wandered along the new section of the Nile Corniche - work is stil ongoing prior to the official opening - but it will be a wonderful addition to the attractions of Luxor. To sit, watching the Nile flow by, and see the Theban hills in the distance, is intense relaxation at its best!

The area will be traffic free, with a large open air cafe, and eventually a shopping arcade. Let's just hope that the normal street hassle will not happen there.
