The World

James and I have always wanted to visit Flushing Meadows Park, the site of the 1964 World's Fair. We see it on our way to the airport, but have never had time to stop.

Our friend Nora arrived today, and since we had no plans for the lovely afternoon, we headed to the park. It was an idyllic NY day - 81 degrees, sunny, not too humid. Queens is the most ethnically diverse county in the United States, and the people enjoying the park were quite representative of this fact. We had fun.
