Polo tower, Morecambe, Lancashire

I was invited to make up the numbers for a WI bowling outing in Morecambe. On the way back to the car we spotted this intriguing tower.

I googled the tower and found it's just about all that remains of Frontierland theme park which existed from 1909-1999. All part of the decline of the English seaside resort. Much of the site has now been covered by a retail park and the bowling alley.
