Rain setting in

It eventually turned into quite a wet afternoon. This was at the meadow lake at the reserve, with an almost abstract quality to the image, and something of a sense of texture to the surface of the water. I am coming to enjoy trying to capture the atmosphere that all sorts of weather conditions bring to a scene. It can be a challenge, but grey days and flat light can also bring rewards of their own.
