Metal Chickens

The chickens adorning the door
Know all that's occurred before.
They cluck and they brood
With vigour renewed
By the treats hoarded up in the store.

This is one of four medallions (which appear to be Greek) on the doors of the Natwest bank on Upper Street. I suspect that they are left over from a previous occupant.
