Well, if I'm not letting myself have a zoom, I'm going to use and abuse my wide aperture (that's what she said?). Around the meadows today, still not used to the idea of a prime lens, but getting some sort of practise with it, loving the shallow depth of field it's giving me.

Tonight, Matthew, I will be mostly making carrot and corriander soup (ah, roast chicken, what great stock you make! All the better to make soup with, my dear), and slounging about watching Downton Abbey series 2. Rock'n'roll!
