ROSES

Along the pedestrian street tucked behind the principal street of Edinburgh is called Rose Street. The whole of the New Town of Edinburgh became a political tribute to the Hanovarian rulers of Great Britain. The Rose tends to be a symbol of England and it is amazing that is was allowed to be more well positioned than the lower and lesser mews street of Thistle Street !!
However these are very pretty designs of inlaid stones in varied forms of roses and in various places along Rose Street - not to be uncharitable about them !1
