Faces of Fiona #48

It's Tuesday, our regular day with Fiona! Now that she is 2, I think the TROUBLE factor has doubled. More vigilance is required to insure the african violet food isn't all over the floor or H's phone isn't connected to the internet. There are more words and more emphatic "no"s. (But all so beguiling!)
She arrived this morning having insisted on this dress that she wore a whole year ago - it's covered with owls! (as she will point out to anyone. -OK, I Like owls too!) Her feet are blue because she was "doing her toenails" like her Mom and her sister often do.
She's after the "Chicago" music box, given to me years ago by a dear roommate college friend I had when we all lived in Chicago - it plays that old Frank Sinatra song - and it used to have a glass globe top, but not since 3 grandchildren ago. Every kid has loved it- Fiona dances to it after she drops it, making a dent on the floor in the kitchen where the bottom 2 shelves here are full of kid stuff. (cookbooks on the top)
Our outing today was to the Children's museum - she's the first one to go in to the craft studio and grab the paint at the easel to paint a masterpiece.- after she takes her dress off! (appreciate that!) A good nap tho' (thank goodness!) Whew!

Edit: I just saw that 1 year ago today we were also at the children's Museum with Fiona! Humm, habits...
