Cake Monster

Tubs has been helping me this evening make Parkin (ginger cake), we are having a cake sale at work tomorrow to raise money for some friends in the village who's son Alex has an inoperable brian tumor, they will be walking from Cambridge to London to raise money for Cancer research and Milton hospice, who have helped the family and Alex during this difficult time.

We have known Alex since he was little, he is only a year older than Monkey and has shown amazing strength, he manages to go to school 3 afternoons a week and despite the odds has kept going longer than anyone thought.

Here is to plenty of cake being eaten and raising lots of money for such a good cause.
