Wheelies

A beautiful warm springlike day here and our street is festooned with wheelie bins awaiting collection. Wheelie bins are the next best thing after sliced bread in my opinion though that's probably because we have somewhere to put them; I might not think the same if I lived in a terrace. Ours is usually only a quarter full and when my mother would add her rubbish to ours to save putting the bin out it only meant an an extra carrier bag. Today, however, it was full to the brim thanks to the polystyrene packaging around a new microwave and small slow cooker.
