Wind & Wet causes old tree to fall

Here in Skye it has been very wet for a lot of the winter. Add to this the strong winds of late and it spelt dissaster for this Pine tree. I cannot be certain whether it fell yesterday or the day before but certainly very recently.

I pointed it out to my neighbour who has a parking area above this place though at present it is not in any danger. It does however seem a pity that a tree that has grown there for so long should end up lying in someones front garden.
