Memory and happy coincidence

Coincidence is a great thing, don't you think?

Today is World Book Day, so this is a picture of a book thaqt Mrs BH gave to me this week as a little 'well done and keep going' gift for the past few weeks - it's been a struggle at times... but we're very nearly at the light bit at the end of the tunnel!

Coincidentally, the chapter that I flicked to first was about memory, which is this week's blip challenge (well, ok it's "remember" but it's pretty much the same thing, isn't it?). It's a very interesting piece about how bisons have roamed the earth for millennia, and there's very little that we're creating now that will be around in ten years let alone millennia, and that our memory span seems to be reducing in the same manner. The book is Distrust that particular flavor by William Gibson, and I am very much looking forward to reading the rest of it.

Happy reading folks!
