Holy Oil

Recently my Dad and Step Mum went on a short holiday to Cyprus, where they visited the Church of St. Raphael and picked up some holy healing oil.

To be entirely honest, we're not religious types, but there's nothing wrong with saying a prayer for others.

We were touched by the gift that has been sent wrapped around cotton wool and placed within a slightly larger medicine bottle.

Sophie has picked up far more than her fair share of infections over the past few years and has caused concern for us all, including her Grandparents. They've no doubt made a prayer for us all then popped this in the post. We are most grateful.

I can honestly say its one of the more unusual items that's arrived through the post. I can also say that our Soph is a brave wee champ. xxx
