2012 Blipfoto Challenge, week 9: 'Remember'

his passing yesterday has saddened my core. such tragic news. i've had moments of tears last night and through today.

this afternoon i tried to spend an hour with my eyes closed. it encompassed all my emotions, and i briefly couldn't cope: the reality that i could open my eyes at any time and see my little girl again and see the way the sun was parting the trees became too much.

i never knew him, never met him and yet i know damn well i'll remember him till the day i can't remember things anymore. we've lost an inspiring, brave man.
