Grand Mosque

Today we took a tootle along to Abu Dhabi, to explore. We've been to the capital a few times before but always for a specific reason, however today, we had no plan. We ended up at the Grand Mosque. It's an amazing place, the largest Mosque in the whole of the UAE. To enter, I had to don an Abaya, the traditional dress for the local ladies, which you can see a pic of here. I loved it. Although the abayalove did begin to wear off somewhat, after tripping on the damn thing a few times (not exactly made to measure) and choking myself on the headscarf once or twice. I guess wearing it takes some practice.
