It's a walk in the park.

As I walked from the local surgery this morning, the sky a brilliant blue and the sun beginning to promise a smashing day the lovely line of birch trees at the far side of the park rippled into a silver shimmer.

Once more I thought how we take for granted the wonderful resource that Banyoles offers, and how lucky people are to have such a recreation space on their doorstep.
Full marks also to the local council who look after it so well and especially to the squad of litter gatherers (all apparently immigrants from Africa) who from 7 am onwards every day, sweep the leaves and keep the place immaculate.
