Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

A new year, a new life.

The Zoologists at Aberdeen University have long been involved in efforts to clone extinct animals. As early as April 1st 1988 there were claims that they had managed to clone the extinct Great Auk, using DNA recovered from an egg in the University's Natural History Museum.

Now there are persistent rumours that the team have made another breakthrough and have brought back to life the Woolly Mammoth. Apparently there have been strange sightings behind the high walls of the University Botanic Gardens. The climate in Aberdeen seems to suit the beast perfectly.
