Took my 4 year old son for his first trip to the Saughton Skatepark today on his little bike.

After a calamitous start where he fell off his bike, he recovered and was whizzing about quite the thing amongst all the cool kids (like this guy above) with the skateboards, jump bikes and scooters.

I was extremely proud of him. He was the youngest kid there on a bike.

The skill of the older kids was amazing and, were I not off to do the weekly shopping afterwards, I'd have hung around and watched all morning.
