A seasider's view

Challenge, day 3: My neighbourhood

Saltcoats ain't what it used to be. Same with quite a few small towns, I suspect.

But seen from a distance, and in a nice light....you don't see the empty chip pokes, fag ends and bucky bottles. Sorry if that seems a bit heavy-handed, but living beside a pub, above an empty bookies and across the road from the broo I do see the sights a bit!

All credit to the loyal and steadfast Mrs W, who accompanied me (despite the strong winds) to get this photo from the harbour this afternoon.

Followed by a stomp around Eglinton Park in wind, rain, sun, and a bit more wind and rain for good measure.
