Anticipation

Baek (his full name is Bakery, another fun Thai name) is here, at the edge of the condo pool, waiting in anticipation to be baptized. All day he had been saying how excited he was. We all shared the feeling as well. Baek put his faith in Christ just a few weeks ago and wanted to be baptized to publicly show that he has committed his life to God.

I don't know if it was on purpose, but his shirt is quite fitting for the occasion. We are all just ordinary people before our life is transformed by Jesus. I suggested a cannonball into the water from here, but Baek chose the ladder.
