walks are needed

Dragging the children out to get some fresh air this afternoon saw us walking into bitterly cold winds, through thick mud and dodging hail - a perfect 'Spring' day here in Cumbria then.

We never tire though of having the canal on our doorstep - the birdlife and insects, the flowers and fish and the series of bridges that we can aim to reach and use as markers so to turn around again!

Apart from the Ireland / France rugby to schedule in, there is nothing else that we MUST do today and since we have a busy week ahead and an absolutely crazy weekend coming up, I plan to enjoy the lack of scheduling - very much!
