My Life Is Not Average

Strictly Come Praying

After church this morning, I took some of my youth group to Strictly Come Praying in Grangemouth, organised by Scripture Union. It was good fun, and there were lots of different ways you could pray including smashing tiles to say sorry for wrong things you've done, as demonstrated here by Luke. It was great to see a few of my good friends from Lead Up and other SU events there, as well as meeting some other youth leaders from around the country.

Tara Devlin, who works for Tearfund, was sharing at the end of the evening about Rachel Scott, who was killed in the Columbine shootings. Rachel would go up to students in her school who nobody else talked to, and she listened to and obeyed God in other ways as well. Quite a challenge to live like that, but every believer is called to do so.

God is listening. God is speaking.
