The Lights

On the way home via the Forth Road Bridge tonight, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the floodlights on the Forth Bridge were switched on for the first time in many years.

They have been switched off during the long refurbishment of the bridge. The switch-on coincided with the 122nd anniversary today of the bridge being opened.

There are 1,054 floodlights.
