Violeta

This is Violeta - my God-Daughter. A widow in her early 20's left with two babies (she lost her husband in the Iraq War). I have watched her grow and emerge into this beautiful young woman full of maturity, grace and beauty.

I have leaned something from this portrait: all of the photographic technique, reading/study and skill is for one purpose... to portray the essence of a moment or a person. I think this Portrait speaks.
