So much for leaving work early - another 6.00pm departure - home via the supermarket then, just as I was unpacking the bags, J dropped in for a while.

She's having a tough time at the moment with their rental property which was in a right royal mess when the tennants left a few weeks ago. She has the painter in now but whilst he is very thorough and is doing a fabulous job, he's very slow and is taking rather longer to finish the job than she'd anticipated. Anyway, she asked if I could take a few shots of the work done so far to send to hubby W who is back at home over the hill and unable to see the developments. No probs - photos taken then back home for a bit to eat and a good chin wag and before I knew it it's almost bed time.

I'll try again tomorrow for a more reasonable departure time from work!
