Nature day after day

Reed Bunting

Not the greatest of shots but what the hey! Me and my b/f Andy went up to the RSPB reserve at Loch of Kinnordy today. We saw lots of different birds including Mute and Whooper Swans, Greylag Geese and a pair of rarer White-fronted Geese, Mallard, Shoveler, Gadwall, Teal, Wigeon, Goosanders, plenty of Black-headed Gulls and Common Gulls, a Cormorant, Rooks and Carrion Crows, a couple of Buzzards, Chaffinches, Blackbirds, Great, Blue and Coal Tits and I heard the woodpecker. The pièce de résistance though was seeing our very first Bittern which gave us good views later on in the afternoon. It was a fantastic day!
