Braeval Yellow Walk

Follow the yellow waymarkers either by path or track from the Braeval car park almost as far as a large metal gate. Just before it -- at a marker post-- a path goes off to the left. It is difficult to see at the moment because of fallen trees. The path zig zags steeply to a wooden bench the viewpoint for today's blip. In the foreground is the Queen Elizabeth Forest, the stretch of water is the Lake of Menteith and then the Carse of Stirling lies beyond that. In the far distance are Dumyat, the Ochils, the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle
