After a long and delayed flight, we arrived in Singapore late in the evening. I've forgotten how hot and humid Asia is; like stepping into a sauna. A quick moment to freshen up and I was having dinner outdoors at Chijmes, in February, with the other side of the moon, Venus and Jupiter shining down on us.

A little after dinner stroll took us to Raffles Hotel and the obligatory (and touristy) Singapore Sling. I love pineapples, but found the cocktail rather too sweet. The Long Bar's floors are covered in peanut shellings. I really liked the fans on the ceiling.
