The Neighbourhood Watch. One of the houses was burgled a few weeks ago whilst the occupants were in bed asleep, it happened to us about 11 years ago, very scary. Anyway, our very proactive President, Glenys, has been to the Town Hall and spoken to a representative for the English community, who in turn spoke to the police, and the first question the police asked, 'do you have security gates on your community' the answer is No, because the Germans will not spend the money, they think it is unnecessary. The police are willing to come along and give a talk about security in general and more specifically the importance of being a gated community, so hopefully in October whe we have the AGM we will have enough votes to get the 'gate issue' through, it's not as if we haven't got the money, we have 20,000 euros in the community funds.
