Protection

These bent and wizened little trees are in an orchard up the road. They are protected at the front by the small fence which keeps out the sheep. Behind them the tall trees are there to act as a windbreak.

It's gone cold again so I'm going to light the fire soon - I was up early again today for an 8am appointment and I'll be out very early tomorrow too; full day on-site and then over to the office for a staff development session in the evening. Currently mellowing out to Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers playing "Blue Monk" and writing a presentation for tomorrow evening - it's not such a bad world is it?
