Nearly here

Spring is just around the corner if this blossom in Bristol's St Andrew's Park is anything to go by.

It's quite an interesting place. A children's paddling pool was once a wartime emergency reservoir, barrage balloons used to be tethered to a mast here and there is an underground air raid shelter somewhere under these green slopes - but no one knows exactly where.

On an afternoon like this one, it's a nice place to chill out and escape the never-ending hassle with house moves, redundancy, exploding dimmer switches et flipping cetera.
