Flying high

Annual kite festival. Absolutely favorite Austin event.

Dogs, families, food, picnics, sun and KITES!

Such a grand site to have so many people enjoying the beauty of thousands of kites in the air.

Dodging suicidal kites, invisible kite string, untangling twined kites, people trying to run to set their (bought or homemade) kites a flight.

My favorite for this year is barely visible in this blip: a multicolored ship that flew quite well being so 3-D.
