A Bird in the Bush

I have for many weeks now been looking for a 100-400mm zoom lense to improve my wildlife captures. I have choked at the branded 'new' range and even been spluttering at the secondhand prices, so being a cheap skate I have managed to buy from a well known auction site a Sigma 400mm lense. The above is the best from my first half hour sortie into the hedge row, the main floor appears with only the fixed focal lenght lense is finding the subject quickly. Overall for its cost things are looking good for the capture of those difficult little birds!
