B&W Belgrave Flyover

This is the underbelly of the Belgrave Flyover in Leicester which carries the A607. On the route of the Fosseway, this 1970's structure is earmarked for demolition primarily to help unify the Belgrave area with Leicester City Centre! It is a massive overcapacity being of 4 lanes wide (only 2 used) and really disturbs the pedestrian route into town. Still beautiful though with great views in all directions as you drive or cycle over it. Especially heading into town with the rugged skyline of Leicester before you!! Always suspected these structures were built, in part, to give the motorist a good view of 1960's modernist creations!! ;-)
