An Irish Guy Abroad

Drama

This morning as I was heading out I grabbed the camera as Cathintheattic didn't need it for work. I was thinking about taking some photographs in and around the mills here in Blackburn as I was heading into Daisyfield where there a lot of them.

I shouldn't have bothered as serendipity or something else was waiting for me as I left our house. I got no further than my front door step when this view presented itself. It wasn't just the light reflecting off the slate roof tiles and the drama of the sky, but I knew with the high contrast levels this shot was calling out to be monochrome.
