Banksia...all the way from

Plockton in the Scottish Highlands believe it or not. Well a gift shop in Plockton to be strictly accurate.
Banksia wood comes from Australia and we found this a few years ago and thought it was a bit different. It was in a little shop close to Plockton station, the woman who runs it had served us our meal in one of the village restaurants the previous evening. Maybe she was the postwoman, local midwife and various other things too.
