Summer Tasting

Lunch time was spent on a tasting session for a summer event at work, I was so excited -that's what food does to me!!

So I had two starters, two mains and two desserts.. this has to be my favourite: Potted pigs cheeks with a light pea custard and a horse radish cream and pea shoots side.

Ok so I've never had pigs cheeks before but I will be having them again, this was slow cooked for ten hours.. oh my days did it melt in the mouth. The pea custard was distinctive but not over bearing and the radish cream added some kick to it all without knocking you out.
Instead the beautiful flavours melted together in one tasty mouthful after another.

I am droooooooling .. again!
