Sell him your soul, never look back

To Blackwell's bookshop in Edinburgh with EdiSteve for a fascinating talk by Ian Garden on his new book on Nazi propaganda films, complete with images and clips. I may have to buy a copy!

We were privileged to have in the audience an 81-year-old German lady who had seen the Nazi film Titanic at the cinema (kinema?) when it came out in the Forties. Luckily it's propaganda message (the English are pigs) never affected her ... she just thought it was a rollicking good adventure.

Then to the City Restaurant by the Festival Theatre for a typically fine repast. Hope everyone else has had a good day.
