No water shortage here!

My younger daughter loves running and has run a few marathons and half marathons. She likes to keep that side of her exercise going even when she is on holiday.

This afternoon she thought it would be fun to run with Bruce. She planned to run round The Knock - a steep hill with many walking paths and good running or cycling paths too. She got togged up in her running gear and Bruce was quickly aware that this was a chance for him to be going out and about too.

She put him on the extension lead and the pair of them set off at a brisk pace. They were away for about forty minutes, a good run.
On their return there was much kerfuffling in the utility room! On inspection I saw that they both needed a shower! We dealt with Bruce first. Oh my goodness, the colour of the water! But he was so good. He just stood quietly, in warm water, while we showered him clean. We were helpless with laughter and I'm sure he thought we were both a bit mad.

What a star!
