Titanic?

Cruise ships line the East Bank, sometimes 6 or 7 deep. Rather unlucky if you are on the last ship, as you have to walk through all of them to get to your boat!

They huge giants sail South to Aswan, stopping at Temples in Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo and finally Aswan. It is a nice introduction the the river and what it has to offer. The package includes food, plunge pools, on deck sunbathing and the obligatory 'Gallabeyah' evenings! They are not sailing as frequently now as things are quieter in Luxor.

Today, If you glanced across the Nile to the East, you possibly would not notice this ship that had sunk yesterday whilst docked.

I mentioned it to my neighbour today and he called it the Titanic!
