craic

Luce and Karmjit came through from Glasgow today. They spent some time at the museum and them came to visit for dinner. Don came for tea too. What a laugh. It was the perfect dinner party with the ubiquitous chats about god, death and why are we all here!? It was lovely to have the house filled with great craic.

Dad and I spent this morning visiting the Community Garden and then called to see Steve on the boat for a cuppa. After that we headed back to Wickes for some more supplies and then carried on with the work at the house. Dad started the hole in the wall for the cat flap and I treated 12 scaffold boards that will, tomorrow, be made into raised beds!
