Rescue

This is Michael in the sea today...there were massive waves today...very strong.

A guy got took out on a rip current right in front of us and the lifeguard had to go in and get him. I must admit the lifeguard wasn't very quick of the block and dilly daddled around taking his phone out of his pocket etc before getting in the water. Then he got the guy half way back to the beach then just let go of the float with the guy on it so his friend had to wade in and grab him. Not very baywatch...

The guy was in a right state, being sick, couldn't stand up etc etc so got took off in the ambulance. Hope he is ok now. Must of been scary.

We went in but up to our waists only and i still got knocked over and rolled around like in a washing machine.

Maybe folk should take more notice of the "DO NOT SWIM" flags.
